Tune in on Tuesday 14th September to hear  renowned Art Historian Martin Kemp,  scholar and Dante website creator Deborah Parker, New Generation Thinker Julia Hartley from Kings College London and myself discussing Dante's Commedia. We will discuss Dante's influence on our own work and upon artists through the ages.

Dante's poetry, unrivalled in beauty, depth of meaning and sheer scale has impacted my work directly and indirectly, particularly in the series Between Three Worlds  and in more recent works in development - by turns both  'paradisical' (pictured) and from Hell - begun during the exile of the pandemic.  Disegni Dante. 

​Professor Martin Kemp's latest book is highly recommended, a treasure trove of dazzling works from the Renaissance and Baroque Visions of Heaven: Dante and the Art of Divine Light. He is a leading authority on the work of Leonardo da Vinci and has written explorations of science and art.
